Fruits In Brandy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried apricots
    1 c. dried pitted cherries
    4 Tbsp. brandy or dark rum
    1 c. \"Simple Syrup\"
Preparation
    Place 1/2 of apricots in bottom of decorative 2 cup jar, making sure the top layer is flat and even.
    Make second layer of cherries.
    Repeat to top of jar.
    You should have a \"striped\" effect.
