Old Fashioned Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten lightly
    2 c. hot sweet milk (not boiling)
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat together lightly.
    Pour in unbaked pie shell.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg on top.
    Cook at 275\u00b0 until custard sets.
    When knife blade comes out clean, remove from oven at once.
