Onion Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak (3/4-inch thick)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
Preparation
    Cut round steak into serving pieces; season with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker.
    Sprinkle onion soup mix over top and pour tomatoes over all.
    Cover and cook on low, 8 to 10 hours or high for 4 hours.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
