Jefferson Davis Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. half and half cream
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/2 c. butter or oleo, melted
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    In large bowl, blend sugar, flour and nutmeg.
    Stir in cream; add eggs.
    Mix well.
    Add lemon juice, lemon peel and butter. Beat well.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake in preheated oven at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until center is almost firm.
    It is very rich.
