Oven-Barbecued Round Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. round steak
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. catsup
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut meat into 6 to 8 serving pieces.
    Brown meat in oil for about 15 to 20 minutes.
    Transfer meat to an ungreased casserole. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over meat.
    Cover and cook in a 325\u00b0 oven until tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Serves 6 to 8.
