Fried Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    4 c. sliced apples, cored (peeled or unpeeled)
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of nutmeg
Preparation
    Melt butter in large skillet.
    Add apples and toss to coat. Add water.
    Cover skillet and cook 8 to 10 minutes until tender, but firm.
    Uncover; sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
    Cook 3 to 5 minutes longer.
