Vinegar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugars thoroughly.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Add vinegar and blend.
    Sift flour and baking soda 4 times.
    (It is important to sift 4 times; it makes them lighter.) Sift into the creamed mixture, a little at a time.
    Add extracts and make into little balls.
    Press flat with a fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
