Joan'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can tomato juice
    1 large onion, pureed
    3 to 4 cloves garlic, pureed
    3/4 c. brown rice
    3 Tbsp. fine herbs
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut okra
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen corn
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans
    1 1/2 c. sliced carrots
    2 large potatoes, sliced
    2 pt. chicken broth
    3 Tbsp. oil (olive, etc.)
Preparation
    Saute pureed onion and garlic in 3 tablespoons oil. Add tomato juice, chicken broth and other ingredients except potatoes. Simmer one hour. Add sliced potatoes and simmer another hour.
