Quick German Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 stick butter
    2 c. sweetened juicy fruit (peach, apple or blueberry)
Preparation
    Mix all dry
    ingredients
    together.
    Beat
    egg and pour over dry ingredients.
    Mix
    to
    make a crumb mixture.
    Sweeten fruit to taste and
    add
    some
    water if it is not juicy.
    Pour into a buttered
    8
    x 11 1/2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle crumb mixture over fruit mixture.
    Melt butter and pour over entire mixture. Bake at 400\u00b0 for
    about
    25
    minutes
    or until crust is golden brown.
    Suitable for freezing.
