Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 large eggs, separated
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. shredded coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald 1 1/2 cups milk in top of double boiler.
    Combine sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt.
    Stir this flour mixture into hot milk.
    Cook until thickened.
    Remove from heat; add butter, vanilla and 3/4 cup coconut.
    Allow mixture to cool, then pour into baked 9-inch pie shell.
    Cover with meringue and remaining coconut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until meringue browns lightly.
