Bavarian Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. peeled apple slices
    1/4 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cinnamon.
    Toss apples into the sugar mixture.
    Spoon over cream cheese layer, sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 400\u00b0 and continue baking for 25 minutes.
    Cool before removing rim of pan.
