Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium baked sweet potatoes
    2 beaten eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cloves
    2 unbaked pie shells
    butter
Preparation
    Mash baked potatoes.
    (Boiling potatoes instead of baking removes much of the flavor).
    Add to potatoes, the eggs, sugar and spice.
    (I prefer allspice, nutmeg and grated dried orange rind.) Pour into 2 pie shells and dot with butter chips.
    Start oven temperature at 400\u00b0.
    Fifteen minutes later, reduce to 375\u00b0. Fifteen minutes later, reduce to 350\u00b0.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer.
    Toward end of baking time, marshmallows may be added to top and baked until toasted.
