Creamy Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium carrots
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    2 Tbsp. cream or milk
Preparation
    Wash and scrape carrots.
    Cut into quarters, lengthwise.
    Put carrots in boiling water; add salt and sugar.
    Cover.
    Cook until tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
    Drain.
    Blend mayonnaise and cream. Pour over carrots and mix lightly.
    Serve at once.
    Serves 5 to 6.
