Hunters Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 yellow summer squash
    4 green or red bell peppers
    3 jalapeno green peppers
    12 to 15 fresh peeled tomatoes or 1 qt. canned tomatoes
    2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    2 rabbits, cut up
    2 to 3 lb. venison stew meat, cubed
    1 large Spanish onion
    salt to taste
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Place squash, peppers and tomatoes in large kettle.
    Cook on low for 1 hour.
    Flour meat and brown in bacon drippings along with onion.
    Add to kettle.
    Simmer another hour.
    Add mushrooms and seasonings.
    Cook until liquid is reduced to consistency of stew.
    Serve with mashed potatoes or rice and corn bread.
    Serves 6 to 8.
