Snickerdoodles(From Great-Great Grandmother) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 3/4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs.
Mix dry ingredients, then add to creamed mixture.
Chill dough.
