Mud Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. softened butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    2 c. chocolate morsels
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
    In bowl, beat brown sugar, butter and vanilla until creamy.
    Add egg; beat well.
    Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in 1 1/2 cup morsels and nuts.
    Spread into foil-lined 9-inch square baking pan.
    Bake 23 to 25 minutes.
    Immediately sprinkle 2/3 cup morsels over the top.
    When morsels are shiny, spread evenly.
    Chill for 5 to 10 minutes.
