Congo Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 c. nuts
6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Melt together shortening and sugar.
Cool before adding eggs.
Beat well.
Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add chips and nuts.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Do not overbake.
