Cherry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. pie cherries
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. milk
    2 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add milk, flour, baking powder and mix well.
    Put batter in greased pan and pour sauce over it.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
