Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. sweet milk
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    flour (all-purpose)
Preparation
First, scald milk and dissolve yeast in 1/3 cup warm water. Let milk cool to lukewarm, then add sugar, yeast and enough flour to make a thick batter.
Let rise to double in bulk.
Then add salt, shortening and enough flour to make a dough that can be handled easily.
Put in greased bowl and let rise (double), then make into rolls.
Let rise again and bake at medium 350\u00b0 until brown.
These will keep in refrigerator for several days or can be frozen to be baked when needed (must make into rolls before freezing).
