Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head lettuce, cut up
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned
    4 tomatoes, diced
    1 lb. cheese (Colby), grated
    2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
    1 pkg. Doritos, crushed
    1 bottle Catalina French dressing
Preparation
    Combine and mix or just layer ingredients except chips and dressing.
    Add these just before serving.
    Serves a crowd.
    Keep covered in refrigerator.
