Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg white, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. granulated sugar
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Set aside to cool to slightly warm.
    Cream margarine and shortening.
    Add sugar.
    Mix well.
    Stir in egg white.
    Add milk to mixture, a little at a time, beating until smooth.
