Navy Soup Bean - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. Great Northern beans
    2 potatoes, cut in cubes
    2 carrots, cut up
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 medium onion
Preparation
    Cook beans until tender (about 1 1/2 to 2 hours).
    Add potatoes, onion, carrots, garlic, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    Cook for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Good with Mexican cornbread and fresh cole slaw.
