Old Fashion Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 c. shortening
    10 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. lemon extract
    juice of 1 lemon
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter and shortening.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add flour slowly, beating well.
    Add lemon extract and juice; blend.
    Pour into greased angel food cake pan.
    Cook at 300\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
