Corn Pone - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. lard, oleo or Crisco
2 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 c. corn meal
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and bake in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
