Bisque Of Crabmeat And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. sweet butter
    4 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
    4 Tbsp. green pepper, finely chopped
    1 scallion, coarsely chopped
    2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
    1 c. mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    dash of paprika
    1 c. half and half
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen or 1 (12 oz.) can refrigerated crabmeat
    3 Tbsp. sherry (optional)
Preparation
    Thaw crabmeat.
    In medium skillet, melt 4 tablespoons butter. Saute onion, green pepper, scallion, parsley and mushrooms until soft, but not brown.
    Reserve.
