French Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. catsup
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 to 3 cloves garlic (optional)
Preparation
    Boil vinegar and sugar for 3 minutes and cool.
    Add oil, catsup, onion, salt and Worcestershire sauce.
    Pour into clean container and add whole garlic cloves, if using.
    Refrigerate and let blend before using.
    Recipe can be halved.
