Apricot Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 c. oatmeal (quick)
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (12 oz.) jar apricot jam
Preparation

Melt butter and sugar; cool.
Add oatmeal.
Sift flour, soda and salt together and add to butter mixture.
Add nuts.
Reserve 1 cup mixture.
Put remainder of mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
