Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    2 tsp. water
Preparation
    Beat butter for 30 seconds; add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add vanilla and 2 teaspoons of water; beat well.
    Stir in flour and pecans.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven about 20 minutes.
    Cool completely.
    Gently shake on powdered sugar.
    Makes 36 cookies.
