Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 lb. ripe tomatoes
    10 medium sized onions
    4 sweet green peppers
    1 stalk celery
    1 qt. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. each: allspice, cinnamon and ground mustard
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Peel and chop tomatoes; prepare and chop all other vegetables and combine with tomatoes.
    Boil gently for 2 hours, stirring frequently.
    Add vinegar, sugar, salt and spices.
    Cook over simmer flame 1 hour longer, stirring occasionally.
    Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
    Makes 8 to 10 pints.
