Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    baked pie shell
    1 qt. ripe strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    red food coloring
Preparation
    Wash
    berries
    and
    stem.
    Turn
    1 pint of best berries upside down on bottom of pie shell (baked).
    Put other pint of berries in\tblender.
    Add 1 cup sugar and 4 tablespoons cornstarch; blend until liquid.
    Add red food coloring until it is bright red.
    Put in\ta pan over low heat and stir until boiling.
    After it boils in a rolling boil, boil 1 minute and take off\theat.
    Pour over strawberries in pie shell and let it set in
    refrigerator until chilled well.
    Serve with whipped cream on top.
