Eggs Goldenrod - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup butter
    1/2 cup flour
    2 cups milk
    1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
    6 hard cooked eggs, chopped
    4 whole English muffins, split and toasted
Preparation
    In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and stir in flour. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Continue cooking until thickened.
    Add cheese and stir until melted and mixed well.
    (More cheese can be added to taste.)
    Add chopped eggs and stir just until they are coated with cheese sauce.
    Pour over toasted muffin halves.
    Good for Sunday brunch.
