Magic Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. mincemeat
    1 1/2 c. water or 3/4 c. water, 1/2 c. rum, 1/4 c. brandy
    1 to 3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    2 c. mixed candied fruit
    1 c. chopped dates (optional)
Preparation
    Break mincemeat into medium saucepan; add water or rum mixture; boil 1 minute.
    Put in large bowl; add fruit, walnuts, dates, Eagle Brand milk and eggs.
    Mix well, then add flour and soda.
    Mix well.
