Hawaiian Cabbage Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 4 lb. beef roast or round steak
1 large green cabbage, cut in quarters
1 purple cabbage, cut in quarters
1 large white onion, chopped
medium size bottle soy sauce
Preparation

Cook roast with no salt in water until tender.
Remove fat and bones; drain off water and cut up in small chunks.
In large pot, boil vegetables with no salt added (about 25 to 30 minutes).
Then drain most of liquid.
Add meat to vegetable pot and pour in 3/4 bottle of soy sauce.
Cover and simmer on low for 20 to 30 minutes.
This is a surprisingly delicious meal!
Serves about 6.
