Cannibal "Taters" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 sliced potatoes
    1 medium onion, sliced
    salt and pepper
    1/2 stick margarine
    water
Preparation
    In a large skillet with lid, put about 1-inch water.
    Layer 1/2 of potatoes, onion, salt and pepper.
    Place pats of margarine on top.
    Repeat.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and reduce heat to low or simmer.
    Cook 30 to 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
    Yields 6 servings.
