Old Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 c. milk or half and half
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Do not preheat the oven.
    Cream sugars, shortening and butter together.
    Add the eggs one at a time.
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder together and add alternately with the milk.
    Add vanilla and lemon extracts.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 1/2 hours (when toothpick comes out clean).
