Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pears or 2 1/2 c. chopped pears
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    2 tsp. soda
    3 c. flour
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Chop
    pears.
    Add
    1/2 cup sugar; set aside for 1 hour. Beat eggs;
    add\tsugar,\tvanilla
    and
    cooking oil.
    Sift the flour, soda,
    salt and spice together and add to egg mixture. Add chopped pears and pecans; mix well.
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0. Pour
    batter into tube pan or 2 loaf pans.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
