Fancy Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 to 8 medium Russet potatoes
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 c. half and half cream
    12 oz. medium Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Parboil or steam potatoes until almost cooked.
    Peel potatoes and grate.
    Put melted butter in an 8 x 8-inch pan and add grated potatoes.
    Pour half and half cream to cover bottom half of potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until the cream is absorbed by potatoes (approximately 45 minutes).
    Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top and place back in oven until cheese is melted.
    Serve.
