Blitz Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or Crisco
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks, well beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg whites
    3/4 c. sugar
    nuts
Preparation
    Alternate milk with flour.
    Add the vanilla.
    Bake in 2 layers (very thin).
    Cover with the egg whites, beaten stiff with 3/4 cup sugar and nuts.
    Put the whites on before baking the cake.
