Southern Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Grape-Nuts
    1/2 c. warm water
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine Grape-Nuts and water; let stand until water is absorbed.
    Beat eggs well.
    Add sugar, corn syrup, salt, vanilla and melted butter.
    Fold in the softened Grape-Nuts.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until filling is puffed completely across the top.
