Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese
    1/2 lb. (2 c.) plain flour
    1/2 lb. oleo or butter
    1 tsp. hot red pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Soften butter.
    Grate cheese.
    Sift flour, red pepper and salt together.
    Add cheese and butter, then add to flour mixture until ball is formed that will not stick to fingers.
