Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    dash of salt
    1 c. white Karo
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cocoa in a large saucepan.
    Add evaporated milk, salt, corn syrup and butter.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
    Boil, without stirring, for 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Add vanilla.
    Cool. Keeps well in refrigerator for several weeks.
    May be microwaved to heat.
    Serve over ice cream.
