Candy Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. cinnamon candies
2/3 c. corn syrup
1 c. water
dash of salt
ice cream sticks

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except sticks for cooking in a saucepan.
Cook until mixture reaches 300\u00b0 or hard brittle stage. Place sticks into apples.
Dip each apple into mixture.
Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and place apples on it.
Cool.
