Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel tomatoes
    2 1/2 lb. onions
    6 to 12 hot peppers
    2 sweet red peppers
    1/2 bunch celery
    2 lb. brown sugar
    1/4 c. salt
    1/2 qt. vinegar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Peel, core and chop tomatoes.
    Cook tomatoes for 1 hour and then add rest of clean chopped vegetables and spices.
    Bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes and then jar.
    Makes about 16 pints.
