Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. flour
    2 c. (1/2 lb.) diced rhubarb
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    To milk, add lemon juice and baking soda; set aside.
    Cream brown sugar and shortening.
    Add egg.
    Mix in sour milk mixture and flour.
    Fold in rhubarb and vanilla.
    Pour into prepared 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
