Nantucket Cranberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cranberries
    1/2 c. walnuts (or pecans)
    1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Butter 10-inch pie plate.
    Chop cranberries and nuts; add 1/2 cup sugar.
    Place in pie pan.
    Mix together eggs, butter, 1 cup sugar, flour and almond extract.
    Pour over berry-nut mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
