Pepper Steak And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    flour
    salt and pepper
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
    shortening
    garlic salt
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 or 3 c. water
    2 green peppers
    1 medium onion
    3 or 4 tomatoes
    rice (amount desired)
Preparation
    Dip steak in flour; sprinkle with salt and pepper and brown in a little shortening.
    After it browns, remove steak.
    Put some flour in excess shortening and stir good.
    Brown to make gravy.
