Kraut Salad(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) can sauerkraut
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. chopped celery
    3/4 c. grated carrot
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Do not drain kraut; sprinkle parsley over kraut.
    Add sugar and let stand for 1/2 hour.
    Add remainder of ingredients; mix well.
    Cover tightly and refrigerate for 12 hours before use.
