Orange Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    4 unbeaten egg yolks
    juice of fresh oranges and water to make 1 c.
    a little grated orange rind
    8 egg whites
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder.
    Make a well and add oil, egg yolks, liquid and orange rind.
    Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until whites are stiff.
    Fold into preceding mixture.
    Bake in a tube pan or Bundt pan which has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
    Turn oven to 350\u00b0 and bake 10 minutes more.
    Cool before icing.
