Chicken Fried Steak With Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. tenderized round steak
    salt and pepper
    flour
    1 egg, beaten with milk
    1/4 c. milk
    oil
Preparation
    Cut steak in pieces.
    Salt and pepper each slice.
    Dip in milk and egg.
    Roll in flour.
    Place in skillet with 1-inch deep cooking oil.
    Brown and cook on one side about 15 minutes over medium heat. Turn meat and repeat process.
    When steak is done, remove slices and drain on paper towels.
    Pour off most of oil, reserving 4 tablespoons fat and any meat crunchies.
    Return to heat.
    Make gravy.
