Buttermilk Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
    2 large baking potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced (about 1 lb. total)
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 medium size onion, chopped
    2 c. buttermilk
    pinch of paprika
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt and pepper.
    Dredge potatoes in the flour mixture and place them in a shallow 2-quart baking dish.
    In a small skillet, heat margarine over medium heat.
    Add onion and saute for about 5 minutes or until tender.
    Spoon onion over potatoes and pour buttermilk over top. Sprinkle paprika over potatoes and bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
